The Ya-Du
This form is from Birma. It has similarities between the Than Bauk and haiku-inspirations.
The Ya-Du has a reference to one of the four seasons.
The Ya_Du has climbing rhyme in it; twice to be precise.
The first climbing rhyme is in the 4th syllable of line one, the 3rd syllable of line two and the 2nd syllable of line three.
The second climbing rhyme is in the 4th syllable of line three, the 3rd syllable of line four and the 2nd syllable of line five.
The last syllables of line four and five rhyme as well.
The first four lines have four syllables each, the last line can be five, seven, nine or eleven syllables.
Maximum number of stanzas in a Ya-Du is three.
